Saint Bernard breed of dogs is believed to be one of the largest breed of dogs all across the world. They were originally developed for rescue mission, hunting and working dogs. They are believed to have originated in Italy and Switzerland.

St Bernard dogs are strong, muscular, large and with powerful head. Basically they are two varieties of Saint Bernard dogs – Short haired and smooth coat or long haired and rough coat.
